Scott Daniel will be sharing insights on ChatGPT-4's capability to act as a generic tutor form engineering and math content - Wed 4th, 12:15 - 1:15: "Prompt Potential: A Pilot Assessment of Using Generative Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT-4) as a Tutor for Engineering and Maths"
Peter Neal and Scott Daniel will follow this up with an interactive workshop on "Evaluating and transforming you and your colleagues’ assessments in an age of generative AI" on the same day at 3:45 - 4:45.
The full SEFI program shows the interest of engineering educators to better understand GenAI
AAEE2024
To be held in Christchurch (8-11 Dec), it is shaping up to be a great conference. I hear reports of their being lots of AI papers/workshops under review, so this should make the GenAI-stream very interesting and informative. Many of our members have submitted contributions. If you have the chance, and want some AI professional development, find your way over to the conference.
