In early April, members of the various clusters met to discuss possible research ideas. The discussions led to the development of numerous project scopes being defined. The initial projects under consideration are:
Project-based Team:
Framework for GenAI integration with project-based work.
Best practices for assessing project work.
This project team currently consists of 12 academics from 8 Australian universities. They are representatives from Central Queensland University, Monash University, The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, University of Southern Queensland, University of Tasmania, and University of Wollongong.
Work-integrated learning Team:
Integrating GenAI into WIL-based learning activities.
Using GenAI to classify student work to EA Stage 1 Competencies.
This project team currently consists of 7 academics from 4 Australian universities. They are representatives from The University of Sydney, the University of New South Wales, the University of the Sunshine Coast, and the University of Wollongong.
Programming-based Team:
Integrating GenAI to Peer Review Student Code
Identifying GenAI entry points for Programming
This project team currently consists of 5 academics from 5 Australian universities. They are representatives from The University of Melbourne, the University of Southern Queensland, the University of the Sunshine Coast, the University of Western Australia, and the University of Wollongong.
Ethics-based Team:
Understanding the ethical implications associated with GenAI.
This project team currently consists of 4 academics from 4 Australian universities. They are representatives from Monash University, University of Southern Queensland, University of Technology Sydney, and University of Wollongong.
